Chicken pizza Recipe

- 1 ball (1 pound) of pizza dough, or store-bought
- 1/2 cup prepared pizza sauce
- 1 cup cooked and pulled/chopped chicken
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- Optional toppings: sliced onions, mushrooms, bell peppers, red pepper flakes, etc.
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F(230 degrees C)
- If using store-bought pizza dough, let it come to room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough into a 12-inch circle.
- Place the dough on a lightly greased baking sheet.
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
- Top with the chicken, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
- Add any optional toppings you like.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Tips
- For a crispier crust, preheat a baking sheet in the oven while it's preheating Then, place the rolled-out dough on the hot baking sheet before adding the toppings.
- If you're using a lot of toppings, you may need to bake the pizza for a few minute longer.
- Be careful not to overbake the pizza, or the crust will become hard and dry.
- Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving, so that the cheese has time to set.
