Chicken pizza Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 ball (1 pound) of pizza dough, or store-bought
  • 1/2 cup prepared pizza sauce
  • 1 cup cooked and pulled/chopped chicken
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • Optional toppings: sliced onions, mushrooms, bell peppers, red pepper flakes, etc.

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F(230 degrees C)
  2. If using store-bought pizza dough, let it come to room temperature for 30 minutes.
  3. Roll out the dough into a 12-inch circle.
  4. Place the dough on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  5. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
  6. Top with the chicken, mozzarella  cheese, and  Parmesan cheese.
  7. Add any optional toppings you like.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Tips

  • For a crispier crust, preheat a baking sheet in the oven while it's preheating Then, place the rolled-out dough on the hot baking sheet before adding the toppings.
  • If you're using a lot of toppings, you may need to bake the pizza for a few minute longer.
  • Be careful not to overbake the pizza, or the crust will become hard and dry.
  • Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving, so that the cheese has time to set.
